Solution

The correct option is D Mitochondria
Cell Inclusions are non-living ergastic or paraplasmic substances present in the cytoplasm. They may be food reserve or excretory substance or pigment or mineral. Due to their presence, a cell may become different from other surrounding cells. it is then called as an idioblast. The food reserve cell inclusions can be starch, glycogen, fat droplets and aleurone grains. Mineral crystals can be of calcium salts. Calcium carbonate occurs as a mass of crystals around a cellulose core to form cystolith. Cystolith is like a bunch of grapes, e.g., leaf hypodermis of the banyan tree. Calcium oxalate forms needle-shaped raphides e.g.,Lemna, Eichhornia etc., prismatic crystals, e.g., scales of onion, star-shaped sphaeraphide or druse eg. Colocasia, Chenopodium or powdery mass called as crystal sand as in Atropa. Mitochondria is a double membrane bound cell organelles concerned with the process of aerobic respiration. Thus, the correct answer is option D.
