The correct option is B Removal of an electron from orbitals bearing higher 'n' value is easier than from orbitals having lower 'n' value.
As the value of 'n' i.e. principal quantum number increases, the size of atom increases and the distance between valence electrons and nucleus increase. As a result, the attraction between the valence electrons and the nucleus decreases. This facilitates the easier removal of valence electrons.
Thus statement given in option B is correct.
