Bhopal gas tragedy was not a radioactive fallout. It happened due to a leak of methyl isocyanate gas and other chemicals from the plant. Bhopal gas tragedy is the world's worst industrial catastrophes. It occurred on the night of 2nd/3rd December 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
