The plasma membrane is made of two layers of proteins and phospholipid. The proteins of the plasma membrane are two types intrinsic and extrinsic. The extrinsic proteins are loosely attached to the surface of plasma membrane. Intrinsic proteins are attached deeply inside the proteins which act as channel protein and helps in the influx of cellular ions and molecules during active transport. Phospholipids are the lipids which have the hydrophobic tail which does not interact with water and a hydrophilic head which can interact with water.
So, the correct answer is option B.
