Which one of the trend is wrong for alkali metals when we move from top to bottom?
Hardness increases
The electropositivity (The ease with which the electron can be removed.) increases as we go down the group i.e. electronegativity decreases. The ease with which the atom can lose an electron increases as we go down the group because of the increase in the size of the atomic radii, thus ionization energy decreases. Melting point and boiling points decreases down the group as the lattice energy in the crystal structure decreases as we go down the group.
