Which one out of the organs listed below, most actively functions in regulating our body temperature?
Skin
The skin is the largest organ of the body. Epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, provides a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone. It protects the body from the sun's rays and has a vital role to play in thermoregulation, keeping the body temperature within normal ranges. Skin temperature depends largely on air temperature and time spent in that environment.
