Heart is the organ for pumping oxygenated blood through out the body by rhythmic contraction of cardiac muscle.
Atria is the contracting part of the heart, these are the chambers where blood enters the heart and these undergoes atrial systole (the atrial contraction is known as systole). Contraction of the atria ejects blood through the valves and into the ventricles.
