Pelvis - the basin-like area that collects urine from the nephrons and it narrows into the upper end of the ureters.
The cortex contains the renal corpuscle, proximal, and distal convoluted tubules. The medulla and medullary rays contain the loops of Henle and collecting ducts.
Ureter - Collects urine from the renal pelvis and takes it to the urinary bladder.
