Question

Which planet is considered the earth's twin?

Open in App
Solution

Venus:

  1. Venus is earth's nearest planetary neighbor and the second planet from the Sun.
  2. At its surface, Venus possesses crushing air pressure more than 90 times that of earth corresponding to the pressure found a mile underneath the earth's ocean.
  3. It's one of the four inner, terrestrial (or stony) planets, and it's sometimes referred to as earth's twin due to its size and thickness or composition.
  4. However, these are not identical twins, there are significant variances here between the two universes.

Therefore, Venus is considered as ‘earth’s twin’.
