Solution

The correct option is D All of the above
The Tundra biome is characterized by bitterly cold temperatures, dry winds, and negligible rainfall and is located in the arctic and on tops of high mountains. Despite this harsh climate various types of wind flowers, grasses, mosses, lichens and sedges grows. Most plants are perennials. All tundra plants grow close to the ground, forming almost one layer over the land's surface. This gives the plants equal access to the sunlight and keeps them close to the warm soil. Also small height protects them from gusty winds and cold temperatures.

The correct option is D.
