Solution
Dear student,
Sublimation is the process in which a solid is directly changed into a gas without changing into the liquid form. Ammonium chloride would sublime on heating leaving sodium chloride behind while sodium chloride do not.
Ammonia is evolved when ammonium chloride will react with sodium hydroxide. Sodium chloride does not react.
