(i) Concentrated sulphuric acid upon addition to ethanol yields ethene. Therefore it shows its dehydrating poperty.
(ii) 2H2SO42H2O+2SO2+2[O]C+2[O]CO2
Carbon is oxidised to carbon dioxide gas in the presence of conc. sulphuric acid therefore it shows its Strong oxidizing property.
