Solution

Windmill: A windmill is a machine that uses the energy of the wind with the help of its vanes (blades) linked to a rotating shaft.

Explanation: Wind energy is sustainable and cost-effective due to the low operating costs associated with it. Some of the disadvantages of windmills/wind energy are noise pollution, the unpredictability of wind, limited locations, etc.

The renewable energy used by a windmill is wind energy. Many other devices like wind pumps and sailing boats use wind energy to function. Wind energy is one of the renewable resources which doesn't much affect the surrounding ecosystem.
