Solution

Chambers of heart:

  1. The human heart involves the following chambers.
  2. Two atria, or upper chambers, receive and store blood. Two Ventricles are the lower chambers that are able to pump blood to various areas of the body.
  3. The right ventricle takes oxygen-depleted blood out of the right atrium and thereafter travels it to the lungs for its oxygenation.
  4. The left ventricle collects oxygenated blood out of the left atrium to further distribute it to the aorta.
  5. Oxygenated blood is found in the left side ( left atrium and left ventricle) of the heart.
