In case of a spinal cord injury, the signals coming from the receptors as well as the signals sent to the effectors will be disrupted. As both of these signals meet in a bundle in the spinal cord, so, if there is any spinal cord injury then both of these signals will be disrupted. This could lead to paralysis of the concerned organs/organ system.
