Solution

Dear Student,

The primary oocytes formed during embryonic development get surrounded by layers of granulosa cells and are then called primary follicles. The primary follicles get surrounded by more layers of granulosa cells and from secondary follicles which soon get transformed into tertiary follicles that have characteristic fluid-filled cavity called antrum. This tertiary follicle further changes into the Graafian follicle .
