Which type of material allows light to pass through it completely?
Transparent
Materials which allow light to pass through them completely are called transparent materials. One can easily see objects on the other side of a transparent material. Some examples are glass, water etc.
Materials which partially allow light to pass through them are called translucent materials. One cannot completely see the objects on the other side of a translucent material.
Some examples are butter paper, thin sheets of plastic etc.
Materials which does not allow any light to pass through them are called opaque materials.
Some examples are wood, a metal piece etc
