Smooth muscles are found in the stomach.Smooth muscle is a type of muscle tissue which is used by various systems to apply pressure to vessels and organs.Smooth muscle is composed of sheets or strands of smooth muscle cell. The smooth muscle are involuntary muscles which means it is not under the control of our will. They work automatically without us being aware of them.Smooth muscle in the stomach contracts during digestion in order to break down nutrients.
