Solution

Solution :

Exothermic reactions

  • The chemical reaction releases the most energy of all. The chemical reactions that release energy in the form of heat or lights are called an exothermic reactions.
  • All combustion reactions are exothermic reactions.

Example

  • The atomic bombs made from Uranium-235 (235U) and Plutonium-239(239pu) can generate huge amounts of heat energy when exploded as part of the nuclear fission process.
  • The temperatures of a nuclear explosion reach those in the sun's interior, about 100,000,000° Celsius, producing a tremendous fireball that can vaporize everything including soil and water.
