Functions:
- Blood carries nutrients and gases(O2 and CO2) from one place to another in the body.
- It provides immunity against specific diseases and protects our body from microbial infection.
- Blood also helps in the transport of various hormones and vitamins to different parts of the body and also excretory products from various parts of the kidney and liver.
