(i) River Indus drain into Arabian sea near the port city of Karachi in Sindh. It is the longest river of Pakistan.
(ii) River Euphrates drains into Persian Gulf. It flows
through Syria and Iraq to join the Tigris in the Shatt-al-Arab.
(iii) River Irrawaddy
drains into Irrawaddy delta into the Andaman Sea. It is Myanmar's largest river
which originates from the confluence of the N'mai and Mali rivers.
(iv) River Mekong
drains into South China Sea south of Ho Chi Minh City. It is the longest river in
Southeast Asia.
(v) River Hwang-Ho drains into the Bohai Sea near the city of Dongying in Shandong province. It originates from the Bayan Har Mountains in Qinghai province of western China. It is also known as "sorrow of China".
