where L is Inductance

I is Current

Magnetic energy is analogous to kinetic energy = $\frac{1}{2}m{v}^2$ in spring mass system.

They are analogous to each other because as in L-C oscillation, L provides resistance to change in current in same way m provides resistance to change in velocity in spring mass system.
