While cooking heat is produced also so why it is endo thermic reaction???
More Examples:Endothermic reactions intake energy from their environment to perform the chemical process required. Cooking is a good example of an endothermic process. Think about making a pie. If you simply put the fruit into a pie crust and let it sit, nothing will happen other than some warming to room temperature. You must place the pie into the oven and add heat to the equation. The addition of heat will alter the chemical bonds in the pie and turn it into a warm, yummy treat.
Endo means inside, so endothermic means inside heat. Exo means outside, so exothermic means outside heat. Cooking puts heat inside of foods and is, therefore, considered an endothermic process.
Eg:Cooking an egg is an endothermic process. The egg absorbs the heat from the water and does not release it. Though the cooking process is absolutely endothermic.
