While measuring the length of the knitting needle, the reading of the scale at one end is 3.0cm and at the other end is 33.1cm. What is the actual length of the needle?

  2. Now for finding the exact length, we simply subtract the lesser numeric value from the bigger numeric value.
  3. So actual length of needle = bigger value - lesser value = 33.1cm-3.0cm=30.1cm
