If the least count of the vernier is 0.1 mm then find its zero error and the correction reuired in the measurements made by it.

L.C. = 0.1 mm

Given while measuring Zero error zero of vernier is to right of main scale 0, so when the scale should have read 0 it was actually reading 0+6 L.C.

Zero error = 6×0.1 = 0.6mm

Correction = -0.6mm
