The main energy possessed by a fidget spinner is rotational kinetic energy.


Fidget spinners have a bearing in the inside. To properly understand a fidget spinner, you better understand a bearing first. There are multiple bearings in this world, but for fidget spinners, they usually use the ball bearings. The ball bearing uses kinetic force to rotate itself, such as the hand. When it is placed in a fidget spinner, it is connected to the cap, and therefore you can easily spin the bearing without having to directly touch it. The weights at each end of the fidget spinner adds on to the force of the bearing, and helps it spin for a longer period of time. That is why the heavier spinners last longer, but takes more strength
