Given that, Goutham > Sachin

And Deepak > Mrinal

Other two are Sameer and Saurav.

From Statement I, Goutham > Sachin

Deepak > Mrinal and Saurav > Sameer

So, tallest cannot be determined.

Hence, Statement I alone is insufficient.

From Statement II, Saurav>Sachin/Mrinal/Deepak

So, Saurav >Sachin/Deepak>Mrinal/Sameer but nothing can be said about Goutham with respect to Saurav. Hence, either Saurav or Goutham may be the
tallest person.

So, both the statements are insufficient to answer the question.
