Continuous breeders

1. Continuous breeders are the ones who are active reproductively throughout their reproductive stage.
2. Just like plants, animals also exhibit variation in attaining sexual maturity.
3. Some animals remain reproductively active throughout their reproductive phase; such animals are called continuous breeders, e.g., human.
4. On the other hand, there are some animals, which become reproductively active only during favourable seasons in their reproductive phase; such animals are called seasonal breeders, e.g., dog, birds, frog, lizard, tiger, etc..
