The early entrepreneurs of India were Dwarkanath Tagore from Bengal, Dinshaw Petit and Jamshetjee Nusserwanjee Tata from Bombay.
1. Dwarkanath Tagore made his own destiny by trading with China. He then made investments into industries and set up six joint-stock companies in the early 1800s.
2. Dinshaw Petit and ​Jamshetjee Nusserwanjee Tata established huge industrial empires in India. They accumulated wealth by exporting goods to China and sending raw cotton shipments to England.
