Who introduced the concept of population education?
Concept of Population Education was introduced by professor S. R. Wayland of Columbia University in 1935. Population education leads to a greater awareness among students and teachers and a positive change in their attitudes. Population education helps to improve the well-being of their families and communities. 3 major elements of population education are 1) determinants of population growth; 2) demography; and 3) consequences of population growth.
