Solution

The correct option is A Lord Macaulay
When Lord Macaulay became the president of education committee, he took the decision in favour of western education. He submitted his famous minutes in 1835 which was approved by William Bentick in February 1835 and a resolution was passed in March 1835. It led to the formulation of a policy which became the corner stone of all educational programs during the British period in India.
