Who is the scientist behind linear equation in two variable?

Linear algebra which actually deals with linear equations, has been developed almost 4 centuries ago by various mathematicians who came across various situations when they needed to find solutions to such problems. In fact, our own ancient Indian Mathematicians had also developed what is called "Beeja Ganitha" which is basically algebra. Algebra itself was developed by Persians many centuries ago.

Hence, it is not a single scientist who discovered this.
