Dear Student,
There are two houses of the Parliament. Rajya Sabha is the Upper House of the Parliament and Lok Sabha is the Lower House of the Parliament. The Vice President presides over the Rajya Sabha. The members of Rajya sabha elect the deputy chairperson from among themselves. The President presides over Lok Sabha.
