Who proposed the "Theory of Natural Selection" ? What are vestigial organs? Give some examples of human vestigial organs.

Theory of Natural Selection was proposed by Charles Darwin in his book "Origin of species" in 1859. Vestigal organs are reduced and non-functional organs present in some organism which correspond to fully developed and functional organs in related organisms. Human vestigial organs are Plica semilunaris (nictitating membrane), ear muscles, coccyx or tail bones, vermiform appendix, wisdom teeth (third molars), canine teeth.
