Solution

Dear Student,

Seleucus was the chief commander of Alexander. His full name was 'Seleucus I Nicter'. After Alexander's death, he became ruler of Babylon. Like Alexander, Seleucus too wanted to conquer India, but he failed in his goal. The result came out in the form of a treaty of Seleucus and Chandragupta Maurya.

1. Selecus Nikator surrendered a vast territory including Aria , Arachosia , Gedrosia,Paropanisade
2. Chandragupta control of the regions he sought.
3. Seleucus got 500 war elephants in exchange.
