He was a ruthless militant and changed Russia from an agrarian society to industrial super power . He was one of the seven members of the first Politburo founded in 1917 in order to organize the Bolshevik Revolutions . He launched a highly centralized command economy . Millions of his own citizens perished under hid brutal rule .
