The first woman to receive a Nobel Peace Prize was Bertha von Suttner in 1905. Also the primary Nobel prizes in chemistry and physics were granted in 1901. From that point forward, just 10 ladies have gotten these distinctions. Marie Curie was the primary lady to win the physics Nobel in 1903; she followed it up with a science Nobel in 1911.
