Pastoral nomads are those who move from one place to another in search of pastures for their livestock such as goat and sheep.

a. Rearing of sheep and goat.
b. Selling the milk, skin and meat of their animals.
c. Trading of commodities.
d. Small scale farming etc.
The nomads prospered by engaging themselves in activities like trading, selling of the meat, skin and milk of animals in the nearby market.
