The most faithful disciples were the two cart-horses- Boxer and Clover. They accepted the pigs as their teacher, absorbed everything they were told, and passed on their knowledge on to other animals by simple arguments. They were the unfailing attendants to the secret meetings in the barn and led the other animals into singing "Beasts of England" at the end of the meeting.
