Why a brass tumbler feels much cooler than a wooden tray?

Brass tumbler is a good conductor of heat so when you touch it the heat transfer from your body to the brass tumbler but in case of wodden tray the heat transfer is very less.Our brain senses the amount of heat transfer and it gives you fell of cold .More the heat transfer more the felling of cold
