Question

Why a Metal spoon can't be charged while held in hand ?

Open in App
Solution

Metals are good conductors which cannot be charged while being held in hand. This is because charge instantly flows towards the earth by the human body or flow towards the metal from earth to make it neutral.

So the human body doesn't allow the metal spoon to acquire charge. It instantly forces the charge towards the ground. So there is no scope for metal spoon to get charged.
