A person with blood group A has antigen A and antibody B in blood while the person with blood group B has antigen B and antibody A in blood.

When person with blood group A donates blood to person with blood group B, the antigen A will react with antibody A and antigen B will react with antibody B and result in coagulation of blood and may cause death of a person.
