Question

Why are acids good conductors of eletricity ?

Open in App
Solution

Acids are good conductor of electricity when they are taken in aqueous solution. When an acid is dissolved in water,It lose hydrogen ions and loses lots of anions as well. Ionic solutions are good conductors of electricity. The stronger the acid, the more hydrogen ions in solution (and more anions), the better the conductor.
