why are animal cells more fertile than plant cells

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

There is no finding as such that animal cell are more fertile than the plant cell. However, we can say that in case of animal cells the division is easy in comparison to the plant cell due to absence of cell wall. In plants also, the division occurs in the thin walled tissue known as meristematic tissue that have the capacity to divide.
