Why are bank accounts & cash in hand shown as liabilities under current liabilities?

Dear Student,
Generally, bank accounts & Cash in hand shown as Assets under Current asset in the Balance Sheet. But if it is shown as liabilities under current liabilities, it means that the amount is overdraft or considered as loan.
