Question

Why are convex mirrors not used in flood light even though they can diverge light

Open in App
Solution

Parallel rays of light that approach and reflect off a convex mirror will diverge from the focus of the mirror after reflecting. This makes the image appear closer to the mirror than the source is.

The size of image is smaller than size of Object.

so it is not used.
