Electric wires coated with rubber-like material:

  1. A cable is a stretched metallic conductor, generally insulated, that is being utilized just to convey electric current in a circuit called electric wire.
  2. Polyvinyl chloride and rubber are examples of insulators. They do not allow an electric current to pass through them, therefore even if we come into contact with the wires, we will not be shocked because the current will not pass through our bodies.
  3. Electric wires are constructed of metals that carry electricity, such as copper but are coated with rubber. It's therefore ideal for wire insulation sheathing and other electrical applications.
