Examples:

  1. Chickenpox, common cold, diphtheria, flu, etc.

Reason for called Communicable diseases:

  1. Infectious diseases are caused by microbes, which can spread from person to person in a variety of ways.
  2. Because these diseases can be passed from person to person, they are referred to as communicable diseases.
