Solution
‘Suicide-bags’ of a cell:
Lysosomes are membrane-bound cell organelles composed of different digestive enzymes.
The digestive enzymes such as hydrolytic enzymes released by the lysosomes are responsible for breaking the foreign particles(like bacteria, food, or old organelles) and digesting them leading to the death of itself and the foreign cells. As the lysosome destroys itself for killing the foreign particles it is known as the ‘suicide bags’ of a cell.
