why are negative blood groups uncommon? what are the reasons? is it because of the parents blood group? if the mom has 0- and dad 0+ what blood group will the child have?

Dear student.

Negative blood group is rare because Rh negative is a recessive trait. Also, very less percentage of the population lacks Rh antigen which makes the blood Rh negative. So people having negative blood group are very less compare to positive blood group.

If mother has O-ve blood group, and father has O+ve blood group, the child will have O+ve blood group. This may result in a condition called
erythroblastosis fetalis.
